Does a Vampire Facial hurt?

Topical numbing is used before treatment. Patients generally tolerate microneedling well, although temporary sensitivity is expected.

What is the downtime?

Redness, warmth, tightness and mild swelling are common initially. Recovery varies with treatment intensity and individual healing.

Can I do this monthly?

PRP microneedling can be incorporated into an ongoing skin strategy when clinically appropriate. Corrective treatment intervals and maintenance should be individualized rather than assuming every patient requires monthly treatment indefinitely.

Is this good for acne scars?

It can be. Research supports microneedling with PRP for atrophic acne scarring, but scar type matters. Ice pick, tethered rolling and deeper scars may require different or combination treatments.
