What Is the P-Shot (Priapus Shot)

The Priapus Shot, also known as the P-Shot, is a minimally invasive procedure that uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to improve erectile function and sexual performance in men. PRP is a concentration of platelets and growth factors that are derived from the patient's own blood. Platelets are responsible for blood clotting and wound healing, while growth factors stimulate the growth and repair of cells and tissues.

How does the P-Shot work?

When PRP is injected into the penis, it stimulates the growth of new blood vessels and nerves. This improves blood flow to the penis and makes it easier for men to achieve and maintain an erection. The P-Shot may also help to improve the size and sensitivity of the penis.

Am I a candidate for the P-Shot?

The P-Shot is a good option for men who have erectile dysfunction (ED), Peyronie's disease, or other sexual function problems. ED is a condition in which a man is unable to achieve or maintain an erection that is firm enough for sexual intercourse. Peyronie's disease is a condition that causes the penis to curve during an erection.

The P-Shot is also a good option for men who are looking to improve their sexual performance and pleasure. The P-Shot can help men to achieve harder, longer-lasting erections, and to have more intense orgasms.

How Much Does the P-Shot Cost?

The cost of the P-Shot procedure varies depending on the provider and the geographic location. However, the typical cost of the procedure is between $1,000 and $2,000.

Here at Bolus Med Spa our price is $1800 for one treatment and $3000 for two treatments.

Add Botox for each for $1500. This may add additional erection benefits as well as 1/2 to 1inch length.

Additional information about the P-Shot

A study published in the journal Sexual Medicine, found that the P-Shot was effective in improving sexual performance and pleasure in men. The study found that men who had the P-Shot reported an increase in the hardness and duration of their erections, as well as an increase in the intensity of their orgasms.

The P-Shot is a safe and effective procedure for most men. However, it is important to talk to your doctor before having the procedure to see if it is right for you.

What are the side effects of the P-Shot procedure

The P-Shot procedure is generally safe and well-tolerated. However, there are some potential risks and side effects, including:

  • Pain and bruising at the injection sites
  • Infection
  • Priapism (a prolonged erection that is painful and does not go away on its own)

What conditions does the P-Shot treat?

In addition to erectile dysfunction, the P-Shot can also be used to treat the following conditions:

  • Peyronie's disease: A condition that causes the penis to curve during an erection.
  • Premature ejaculation: A condition in which a man ejaculates too quickly during sexual intercourse.
  • Lichen sclerosus: A skin condition that can cause scarring on the penis.
  • Prostate discomfort: Some men with prostate problems may experience difficulty getting an erection or maintaining one. The P-Shot can help to improve blood flow to the penis and make it easier to achieve and maintain an erection.
  • Urinary incontinence: The P-Shot can help to improve urinary control in men with mild to moderate incontinence.

The P-Shot is also being studied as a potential treatment for other conditions, such as male infertility and chronic prostatitis. Stay tuned for further research.

How long does the P-Shot last?

The results of the P-Shot typically last for 1-2 years. However, some patients may experience results that last for even longer. The longevity of the results depends on a number of factors, including the patient's age, overall health, and lifestyle choices.

To maintain the results of the P-Shot, it is important to follow a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and avoid smoking. It is also important to have regular follow-up appointments with your doctor to monitor your progress and discuss the need for additional treatments.

If you start to notice a decline in your results after a year or two, you may want to consider having another P-Shot treatment. The P-Shot is a safe and effective procedure that can be repeated as needed to maintain your results.

How do I make my P-Shot last longer?

Here are some tips for prolonging the results of your P-Shot:

  • Eat a healthy diet that is low in processed foods and high in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
  • Exercise regularly for at least 30 minutes most days of the week.
  • Avoid smoking and excessive alcohol consumption.
  • Get enough sleep.
  • Manage stress levels.

If you have any health concerns, such as diabetes or high blood pressure, be sure to work with your doctor to manage these conditions.

By following these tips, you can help to ensure that you enjoy the benefits of your P-Shot for as long as possible.

What to expect during the P-Shot procedure

Our P-Shot treatments can be broken down into three steps:

  • First, the doctor will draw a blood sample from the patient's arm. The blood sample will then be placed in a centrifuge, which spins the blood to separate the platelets from the red blood cells and white blood cells.
  • Once the platelets have been separated, the doctor will draw the PRP into a syringe. The doctor will then inject the PRP into the penis at multiple sites.
  • The P-Shot procedure is minimally invasive and most patients report little to no discomfort. The patient may experience some mild bruising and swelling, but literally you can go home and have sex the same day.

Hair restoration PRP therapy consists of three to four treatment sessions (approximately 45 minutes each), with four to six-week intervals in between sessions. The precise number of PRP treatments needed for the skin will vary based on the skin condition and the size of the area being treated.

Recovery from the P-Shot procedure

Most patients are able to return to their normal activities immediately after the P-Shot procedure. However, we may recommend that the you refrain from sexual activity for a few days to allow the injection sites to heal.

  • Complete all treatments as recommended
  • Evaluate your hormone levels for treatment optimization
  • Start and maintain Nutrafol for optimal hair and scalp health
